Partita 3 in E Major BWV 1006

In this Video, I focus mainly on the practical issues around performing Bach's dance music. We look at the social aspect of dancing in the 18th century - starting with the dance tradition at the court of Louis XIV -  then consult didactical literatur of the period about the subject that Bach himself would have been familiar with.
