Established in 2024 as an online Information and Networking portal to promote understanding and appreciation of Early Music in Bavaria, Barockconnections now has over 200 Members and co-ordinates Outreach Programmes as well as a professional Ensemble.

Established in 2023, the Greifenberg Barockorchester is now a registered Charity, and Bavaria's leading baroque Orchestra for amateurs with monthly Workshop days and two to three public performances per year.
Matthias Ockermüller is a violin restorer and maker, who specialises in baroque string instruments. Matthias also has a large selection of gut strings and is particularly good at helping with set up and sound adjustments.
The Greifenberger Institute for research into musical instruments
is a truly unique establishment. Concentrating entirely on rediscovering the lost art of building keyboard instruments of the baroque and classical era, their work can best be described as the archaeology of keyboard instruments and how they were made.
Joel Frederiksen, American bass-singer and renaissance specialist living in Munich has established an impressive concert-series in the Bavarian National Museum. 17th century repertoire that rarely gets an outing in regular concert platforms is presented here with flare and panache - definately worth a visit!

The ensemble PER-SONAT, founded in 2008 by Sabine Lutzenberger, presents the music of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance from multifaceted cultural traditions in an a way that speaks directly to todays audiences. Sabine brings her passion, deep knowledge and vast experience for medieval music to audiences in Bavaria and beyond - a true jewel in the crown of Munich's Early Music community!
